Safia Hanif Trust Hospital, started in 1986, provides free medical treatment
to the poor community in Lahore cantt and surrounding areas. Its eye department
has a 25 bed facility for the indoor treatment (operations). All expenses,
including purchase of equipment and medicines for the patients, wages
of staff, utilities etc. are borne by the hospital by generating funds
through contributions by the members of the community and other social
